On a sixteen mile loop. A lovely day, just me and the pup. While the upper lands were hot and dry, there was plenty of cool, flowing water in deep canyon pools for wading and swimming, which we did.
We walked in silence down the long, winding, narrow trail, just listening to cheery birdsong and the wind in the trees, the sun shining through the tossing leaves of sycamore, madrone, oak and walnut, making them glow a bright green/yellow against the azure blueness of the sky. A refresher for the soul.
Hope you’re doing ok after certain stressful events of late.
Best.
Just lovely colors!
